Last month the Advertising Standards Authority published a report on a monitoring exercise it carried out to review compliance with influencer advertising obligations. The report states that compliance rates are still "far below" what the ASA would expect and criticises a lack of clear labelling to ensure influencer advertising is clearly identifiable. The report also sets out the ASA's plans for potential enforcement action.
