In a recent case heard by a Circuit Court, where one of the parties filed an Amparo proceeding without signing the writ, as evidence of consent, using the FIREL certified signature,  the Circuit Court granted protection to the filing party.  Circuit Court  concluded that Mexican courts shall exercise "greater flexibility" when assessing  signature requirements  during COVID19 crisis. Such flexibility -the Circuit Court argued- is essential in order to protect individuals human rights during the pandemic emergency.
